Camarillo Scorpions edges Mater Dei Monarchs 75-71 in California high school basketball game

Cerritos College - Camarillo Forward Jaime Jaquez led all scorers with 29 points as the Scorpions beat Mater Dei Monarchs 75-71 in a game at Cerritos College.

Jaquez's points came on 7 field goals, 3 three pointers and 6 of 6 free throws during the game.

Aidan Prukop added 18. Mater Dei fell to 21-1 overall.

Mater Dei's next game is scheduled to be played at Cerritos College on Saturday Jan. 19 at 8:00pm versus Camarillo.
