East Valley Knights beat Cheney Blackhawks 53-45 in Washington high school basketball game

East Valley - East Valley Guard Ellie Syverson led all scorers with 14 points as the Knights beat Cheney Blackhawks 53-45 in a game at Spokane, WA.

Syverson's points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Maggie Smith added 11. Cheney fell to 2-7 overall while East Valley improved their record to 8-3.

Cheney's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 14 at 5:30pm versus Clarkston. East Valley will host West Valley on Friday Jan. 17 at 5:30pm.
