Woodland edges Washougal 8-6

Doc Harris - QB Wyatt Harsh accumulated 40 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Woodland to a 8-6 win over Washougal on Monday night at Doc Harris.

The Beavers also recieved major efforts from WR Wyatt Wooden who caught 2 passes for 18 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Christian Yager who caught 2 passes for 14 yards.

Washougal's Ryan Stevens threw for 33 yards and Dalton Payne had 32 receiving yards.

With the loss, Washougal falls to 6-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday October 13, Woodland came out in front, 8-6.

Woodland will challenge the Columbia River Chieftains at home on Monday October 30 at 7:30pm. In their previous matchup on Friday October 6, the Columbia River Chieftains earned a 19-13 win.

Washougal travels to Vancouver, WA to take on the Columbia River Chieftains on Monday October 30 at 7:30pm. In their previous matchup on Friday September 15, the Washougal Panthers secured a 17-0 win.
