Royal edges Connell 24-21

David Nielsen Memorial Field - Sawyer Jenks accumulated 238 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help Royal to a 24-21 win over Connell on Friday night.

The Knights also recieved impressive efforts from Corbin Christensen who caught 4 passes for 97 yards and 1 touchdown and Alonso Hernandez who rushed 20 times for 89 yards and 1 touchdown.

Connell's QB Austin Smith threw for 12 yards, RB Tristen Garland picked up 103 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Payton Riner had 7 receiving yards.

The win helps Royal improve to 7-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Royal travels to Burbank, WA to take on the Columbia Coyotes on Friday October 20 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
