Mount Vernon Bulldogs edges Lake Stevens Vikings 63-62 in Washington high school basketball game

Mount Vernon - Mount Vernon's Ethan Chapin led the way with 18 points as the Bulldogs beat Lake Stevens Vikings 63-62 in a game.

Chapin's points came on 1 field goal, 5 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Joe Gonzalez added 16. Lake Stevens fell to 2-3 overall while Mount Vernon improved their record to 3-3.

Lake Stevens' next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Dec. 19 at 7:15pm versus Glacier Peak. Mount Vernon will host Monroe on Wednesday Dec. 19 at 7:15pm.
