Tualatin beats Sherwood 27-12

Sherwood - QB Kyle Dernedde picked up 115 passing yards to guide Tualatin to a 27-12 win over Sherwood on Friday night.

The Timberwolves also recieved key efforts from RB Kainoa Sayre who rushed 7 times for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Dominique Loggins who rushed 5 times for 62 yards and 1 touchdown.

Sherwood's QB Wyatt Zettlemoyer threw for 37 yards, RB Zach Jenkins picked up 84 rushing yards and TE Sterling Goldstein had 22 receiving yards.

With the loss, Sherwood falls to 3-5 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sherwood travels to Newberg, OR to challenge the Newberg Tigers on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
