Benson Tech edges Parkrose 18-13

Parkrose - RB Michael Morgan racked up 182 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide Benson Tech to a 18-13 win over Parkrose on Friday night.

The Techmen also recieved crucial efforts from QB Tyler Phillips who completed 7 passes for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns and QB Andrew Ketah who caught 3 passes for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Parkrose's QB Taydrian Jackson threw for 14 yards and WR Tre Anderson had 14 receiving yards.

The win helps Benson Tech improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday September 8, Parkrose came out in front, 18-13.

Benson Tech will challenge the Fort Vancouver Trappers at home on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Parkrose travels to Sandy, OR to face off against the Sandy Pioneers on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
