Perrysburg edges Springfield 34-32

Perrysburg - QB Drew Sims racked up 270 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help Perrysburg to a 34-32 win over Springfield on Friday night at Perrysburg.

The Yellowjackets also recieved crucial efforts from RB Caleb Gerken who caught 4 passes for 86 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Nic Kilbride who caught 4 passes for 87 yards and 1 touchdown.

Springfield's QB AJ GUCCIARDO threw for 367 yards and 5 touchdowns, S ALEX LEGEZA picked up 81 rushing yards and WR ADAM BEALE had 123 receiving yards.

The win helps Perrysburg improve to 3-5 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Perrysburg travels to Sylvania, OH to challenge the Northview Wildcats on Friday October 20 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
