Hoggard cruises by Purnell Swett 38-14

Wilmington, NC - Josh Jones picked up 231 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide Hoggard to a 38-14 win over Purnell Swett on Friday night at Wilmington, NC.

The Vikings also recieved impressive efforts from Chris Toudle who caught 6 passes for 101 yards and 1 touchdown and Kenneth Marshall who rushed 13 times for 54 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Purnell Swett's Luke Oxendine threw for 100 yards and 1 touchdown and Chandler Brayboy had 56 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 4-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard travels to Hampstead, NC to face off against the Topsail Pirates on Friday September 22 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
