Hoggard Vikings cruises by South Brunswick Cougars 42-21 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Hudson Wilharm racked up 234 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 42-21 win over the South Brunswick Cougars on Monday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 14 times for 61 yards and 1 touchdown and running back M'Kel Bellamy who rushed 14 times for 46 yards and 3 touchdowns.

South Brunswick's Jameson Prince threw for 60 yards and 1 touchdown and Jordan Davis had 23 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 5-1 on the season while South Brunswick falls to 4-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard travels to Leland, NC to challenge the North Brunswick Scorpions on Friday October 7. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
