Hoggard Vikings cruises by Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs 42-16 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School quarterback Hudson Wilharm picked up 227 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 42-16 win over the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs on Thursday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back M'Kel Bellamy who rushed 9 times for 69 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 12 times for 59 yards and 1 touchdown.

Northside - Jacksonville's KJ Pollock threw for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns, John Moye picked up 19 rushing yards and Jordan Johnson had 114 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 1-0 on the season while Northside - Jacksonville falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will take on the Scotland Fighting Scots at home on Friday August 26. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
