Medford Tigers defeat Maple River Eagles 63-51 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Maple River - Medford's Emma Kniefel led all scorers with 32 points as the Tigers beat Maple River Eagles 63-51 in a game.

Kniefel's points came on 4 field goals, 6 three pointers and 6 of 7 free throws during the game.

Isabella Nelson added 8. Maple River fell to 7-5 overall while Medford improved their record to 6-0.

Maple River's next game is scheduled to be played at NRHEG on Thursday Jan. 10 at 5:15pm versus New Richland Hartland Ellendale Geneva. Medford will host Blooming Prairie on Friday Jan. 11 at 5:15pm.
