New Lothrop Hornets beat Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates 26-14 in Michigan high school football game

Chesaning, MI - New Lothrop High School Avery Moore racked up 169 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide New Lothrop Hornets to a 26-14 win over Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates on Friday night at Chesaning, MI in a high school football game.

The Hornets also received major efforts from Aiden Harrison who rushed 4 times for 53 yards and 1 touchdown and Jacob Graves who caught 3 passes for 56 yards.

Pewamo-Westphalia's Alec Thelen threw for 39 yards, Cameron Wirth picked up 133 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and Nate Wirth had 39 receiving yards.

Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
