St. Louis Catholic Saints beat Iota Bulldogs 20-7 in Louisiana high school football game

Matt Walker Memorial Stadium - St. Louis Catholic High School Luke Pierson racked up 106 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the St. Louis Catholic Saints to a 20-7 win over the Iota Bulldogs on Thursday night at Matt Walker Memorial Stadium in a high school football game.

The Saints also received crucial efforts from Kyle Turner who rushed 13 times for 58 yards and middle linebacker Graham Montet who rushed 10 times for 33 yards and 1 touchdown.

Iota's quarterback Peyton Renfro threw for 125 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Jacob Cormier picked up 31 rushing yards and quarterback Ezekiel Wall had 52 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps St. Louis Catholic improve to 3-0 on the season while Iota falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

St. Louis Catholic will challenge the Vidor Pirates at home on Thursday September 14. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
