Marion Freshmen defeats Benton 59-51

Van Horne - Marion Freshmen's Connor Whalen led all scorers with 22 points as the Indians beat Benton 59-51 in a game at Van Horne."

Whalen's points came on 11 field goals during the game.

Benton was led by Clay Krousie's 18 points and Turner Schroeder added 11. Benton fell to 0-2 overall while Marion Freshmen improved their record to 9-0.

Marion Freshmen will host Cpu on Friday Jan. 27 at 4:10pm.
