Punahou beats Serra 56-42

Cathedral High School (San Diego, CA) - QB Stephan Barber picked up 323 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to guide Punahou to a 56-42 win over Serra on Saturday night at Cathedral High School (San Diego, CA).

The Buff n' Blue also recieved crucial efforts from WR Andrei Iosivas who caught 6 passes for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns and WR Les Falatea who caught 2 passes for 93 yards and 1 touchdown.

Serra's QB Blaze McKibbin threw for 399 yards and 5 touchdowns, RB Kalen Thomas picked up 105 rushing yards and WR Kobe Smith had 146 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Serra falls to 0-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Serra travels to Los Angeles, CA to take on the Dorsey Dons on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
