Fort Myers Green Wave defeat Riverdale Raiders 48-40 in Florida high school football game

Riverdale - Fort Myers High School Quarterback Carter Lane had 178 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead Fort Myers Green Wave to a 48-40 win over Riverdale Raiders on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Green Wave also received impressive efforts from Running Back Zemare Harvin who rushed 12 times for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns and Quarterback Da'Mani Brown who caught 4 passes for 105 yards and 1 touchdown.

Riverdale's Cornerback Joseph Boone threw for 44 yards, Running Back Billy Donahue picked up 196 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and Running Back Tucker Devaney had 19 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Fort Myers improve to 6-1 on the season while Riverdale falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
