Cypress Lake Panthers edges Fort Myers Green Wave 27-25 in Florida high school football game

Thomas Broomhead Memorial Stadium - Cypress Lake High School Quarterback C.j. Shedd had 339 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Cypress Lake Panthers to a 27-25 win over Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night at Thomas Broomhead Memorial Stadium in a high school football game.

Fort Myers' Quarterback Carter Lane threw for 42 yards and 1 touchdown, Running back Zemare Harvin picked up 122 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Wide receiver Joriell Washington had 44 receiving yards.

Fort Myers will face off against the North Fort Myers Red Knights at home on Friday September 13 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
