Venice cruises by Hamilton 35-8

Venice High School - WR Dion Moore racked up 236 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help Venice to a 35-8 win over Hamilton on Friday night at Venice High School.

The Gondoliers also recieved helpful efforts from WR Brycen Tremaine who caught 4 passes for 102 yards and RB Justin Cauley who rushed 16 times for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Hamilton's QB Shawn Wade threw for 107 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Isaac Randall picked up 57 rushing yards and WR Andre Hustace had 53 receiving yards.

With the loss, Hamilton falls to 3-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Venice will face off against the University Wildcats at home on Friday October 20 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
