Mira Mesa crushes Scripps Ranch 50-20

University City High School - QB Noah Tumblin had 303 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to guide Mira Mesa to a 50-20 win over Scripps Ranch on Friday night at University City High School.

The Marauders also recieved helpful efforts from WR Artyom Harr who caught 5 passes for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns and RB Elijah Thomas who rushed 14 times for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Scripps Ranch's QB Daniel Cox threw for 232 yards and 2 touchdowns, CB Jason Yager picked up 28 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Keith Davis had 149 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Mira Mesa improve to 4-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mira Mesa travels to Spring Valley, CA to challenge the Steele Canyon Cougars on Friday September 29 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Scripps Ranch travels to National City, CA to challenge the Sweetwater Red Devils on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
