La Canada edges Royal 56-53

Chaminade high school - La Canada Wing Patric Panoosi led all scorers with 15 points as the Spartans beat Royal 56-53 in a game at Chaminade high school."

Panoosi's points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Royal was led by Tim Andreolli's 25 points and Pierce Barker added 6. Royal fell to 0-1 overall while La Canada improved their record to 1-0.
