Homewood Patriots edges Thompson Warriors 48-45 in Alabama high school basketball game

Thompson High School - Homewood's William Owen led the way with 11 points as the Patriots beat Thompson Warriors 48-45 in a game at Thompson High School.

Owen's points came on 4 field goals and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Tre Roberson added 9. Thompson fell to 9-2 overall while Homewood improved their record to 2-0.

Thompson's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Dec. 17 at 5:30pm versus Pelham. Homewood will host Chelsea on Thursday Jan. 3 at 1:30pm.
