UNION STADIUM - Mead High School quarterback Jaeland Leman had 154 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help the Mead Panthers to a 35-7 win over the Ferris Saxons on Friday night at Union Stadium in a high school football game.

The Panthers also received major efforts from running back James Frahm who rushed 13 times for 79 yards and wide receiver Max Workman who rushed 4 times for 64 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ferris' quarterback John Olson threw for 126 yards, defensive back Caliel Lindsay picked up 54 rushing yards and wide receiver Sam Markham had 82 receiving yards.

The win helps Mead improve to 3-3 on the season while Ferris falls to 1-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mead travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the Lewis & Clark Tigers on Friday October 13. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
