UNION STADIUM - Mead High School quarterback Colby Danielson picked up 113 passing yards to lead the Mead Panthers to a 41-7 win over the Cheney Blackhawks on Friday night at Union Stadium in a high school football game.

The Panthers also received vital efforts from running back Colby Price who rushed 11 times for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns and wide receiver Johnny Talarico who rushed 3 times for 33 yards.

Cheney's quarterback Jakeb Vallance threw for 105 yards, running back Jermiah Hubbard picked up 54 rushing yards and wide receiver Kordell Laher had 52 receiving yards.

The win helps Mead improve to 7-1 on the season while Cheney falls to 2-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
