UNION STADIUM - Ferris High School quarterback Paxton Page had 125 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide the Ferris Saxons to a 7-3 win over the Mead Panthers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Saxons also received impressive efforts from linebacker Kruz Wheeler who rushed 16 times for 40 yards and running back Hunter Zigler who rushed 3 times for 1 yard.

Mead's quarterback Colby Danielson threw for 33 yards and running back Schuyler Harkness picked up 72 rushing yards.

The win helps Ferris improve to 1-0 on the season while Mead falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Ferris travels to Liberty Lake, WA to face off against the Ridgeline Falcons on Friday September 10. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
