MOUNT VERNON HIGH SCHOOL - Mount Vernon's Ethan Chapin led all scorers with 14 points as the Bulldogs beat Lake Stevens 47-36 in a game at Mount Vernon High School."

Chapin's points came on 6 field goals and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Lake Stevens was led by 16 points and added 11. Lake Stevens fell to 1-1 overall while Mount Vernon improved their record to 7-2.

Lake Stevens' next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Jan. 14 at 12:00pm versus Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon will host Glacier Peak on Sunday Dec. 11 at 2:20pm.
