Sam Huard is set to break the all-time state passing record. Listen to him receive Brett Rypien’s blessing: SBLive Washington podcast

Sam Huard is some 333 yards away from becoming the state’s all-time high school passing yards leader. The Washington commit and No. 1 pro style QB prospect in the country is on pace to break that record on Saturday when Kennedy Catholic takes on Kentwood.

Huard joined the SBLive Washington podcast (11:57 minute mark) to relive how he ended up at Kennedy Catholic, growing up the son of a two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback, what he’s looking forward to stepping onto campus at Washington and how he views the passing record, set by current Denver Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien in 2014 (hint: Rypien makes an appearance in the episode).
