Kahlil Singleton is still enrolled taking online classes at Fort Vancouver High School, but he’s spent much of the fall in California and Arizona, hopping from team to team in an elite grassroots league operating in a bubble, in hopes to impress college coaches at a key time in the volume-scorer’s recruitment.
The junior, now playing with Minnesota Prep Academy, joined this week’s episode of the SBLive Washington podcast to talk about his experience at the Grind Session in Phoenix and how he has bet on himself while high school sports have been shut down in Washington. Also, the SBLive Washington crew — Dan Dickau, Todd Milles and host Andy Buhler — explores the idea of playing multi-classification regional postseason basketball tournament in a COVID-zapped 2021 high school season in Washington.
