Face to face: Skyline shortstop Cole Fontenelle, a UW commit and MLB Draft prospect, talks cancelled season, high school career, future

Cole Fontenelle is one of the state’s top prospects and along with a loaded Skyline baseball team were 4A state title hopefuls entering the 2020 high school season. But after the spring season and in-person school were cancelled due to the coronavirus, he is one of the many athletes across the state who has had to adjust.

Fontenelle, a University of Washington commit and MLB Draft hopeful, gave insight into how he’s been staying shape and processing everything in these unprecedented times Thursday afternoon on Scorebook Live Washington’s “face-to-face” interview series live on Instagram.

Viewers submitted questions in advance and Fontenelle responded in real-time.
