Central Valley senior Peyton Howard voted Scorebook Live’s girls basketball player of the week

Congratulations to Central Valley senior Peyton Howard for being voted Scorebook Live’s WaFd Bank girls basketball player of the week!

Howard had 18 points, 6 dimes, and 4 steals for Central Valley in a 61-53 win over Union

Howard received 40.08% of the vote, beating out East Valley’s Ashlynn Sylve, who finished with 34.04%.

Hailey Van Lith, Cashmere: Van Lith finished with a 27 point 12 rebound double-double for Cashmere in a loss to Lynden Christian.

Ashlynn Sylve, East Valley: Sylve led the way for East Valley with 24 points and 10 rebounds in their 52-41 win against W.F. West.

Faith Baar, Lynden: Baar’s 13 point 12 rebound double-double helped Lynden defeat Burlington-Edison.

Maya Earling, Glacier Peak: Erling put up 23 points and dished 6 assists for Glacier Peak in a 62-57 win over Chiawana. 

Mia Hughes, Woodinville: Hughes finished with 34 points and 11 rebounds for Woodinville in the Falcons’ 57-50 win against Todd Beamer. 

Zaza Walton, Eastside Catholic: Watson put up 20 points to go along with 17 rebounds in Eastside Catholic’s 52-48 victory over Seattle Prep. 

Esmeralda Morales, Bethel: Morales netted 27 points in addition to 5 boards and 3 dimes in Bethel’s loss against Garfield. 

Aaliyah Alexander, Todd Beamer: Alexander scored 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Todd Beamer in their loss to Woodinville.

Mason Oberg, Union: Oberg finished with a game-high 27 points in Union’s loss to Central Valley.
