Watch: Seattle Prep’s Braeden Smith breaks down first round win over Mt. Spokane in 3A state tournament

TACOMA — Braeden Smith knocked down three 3-pointers and totaled a team-high 20 points to help Seattle Prep take down last year’s 3A runner-up Mt. Spokane in the first round of the 3A state boys basketball tournament on Wednesday.

Smith was one of four Panthers in double figures scoring. Jared Roznos had 13, Kyle Carlesimo had 12, Nic Welp added 11 and Tyler Mrus had 10.

Mt. Spokane was paced by Tyson Degenhart’s 21 points.
