Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank high school boys basketball player of the week for Feb. 24-March 1 as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Haden Hicks, Prosser: Hicks finished with 23 points with 21 coming in the second half as Prosser defeated Clover Park 97-78.

Liam Lloyd, Gonzaga Prep: Lloyd put up 34 points for Gonzaga Prep in their matchup with Union.

Tyler Mrus, Seattle Prep: Mrus had a double-double of 17 points and 13 boards in Seattle Prep’s 62-57 win over Spanaway Lake.

Jabe Mullins, Mount Si: Mullins led the way for Mount Si with 27 points, 7 boards, and 3 steals in their 74-44 victory against West Valley.

Tyson Degenhart, Mt. Spokane: Tyson Degenhart finished with 35 points in Mt. Spokane’s matchup with Eastside Catholic.

Brayden Quantrille, Glacier Peak: Quantrille put up 19 points to go along with 6 boards and 4 dimes for Glacier Peak in their 69-43 win over Auburn.

Kaden Perry, Battle Ground: Perry netted 31 points for Battle Ground in their 72-57 win over Inglemoor.

Hunter Ecklund, La Center: Ecklund helped La Center to a 74-59 victory over Bear Creek with 27 points.

Shane Nowell, Eastside Catholic: Nowell poured in 28 points for Eastside Catholic in a 76-70 OT win against Mt. Spokane.

Mason Hill, Union: Hill’s 28 points and six 3 pointers helped Union to a 66-64 victory over Gonzaga Prep.
