Evergreen senior Mario Herring voted Scorebook Live’s boys basketball player of the week

Congratulations to Evergreen senior Mario Herring for being voted Scorebook Live’s WaFd Bank boys basketball player of the week!

Herring finished with an impressive triple-double of 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocks in Evergreen’s 84-67 win over Fort Vancouver

Herring received 68.09% of the vote, beating out Cashmere’s Sam Phillips who finished with 14.66%

Sam Phillips, Cashmere: Phillips averaged 25 ppg and 11.5 rpg in games against Okanogan and Cascade.

Kyle Gruhler, Skyview: Gruhler netted 35 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in Skyview’s game against Union. 

Mario Herring, Evergreen: Herring finished with an impressive triple-double of 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocks in Evergreen’s 84-67 win over Fort Vancouver. 

Jabe Mullins, Mount Si: Mullins helped Mount Si to a 70-48 victory over Inglemoor, scoring 24 points to go along with 9 boards and 8 dimes.

Damar Johnson-Dillard, Bothell: Johnson-Dillard finished with 17 points, 10 assists, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds for Bothell in their matchup with Skyline. 

Liam Lloyd, Gonzaga Prep: Lloyd averaged 22.3 ppg for Gonzaga Prep in one game against Ferris and two games against Mead. 

Tanner Toolson, Union: Toolson scored 30 points and hit a clutch 3 to send Union’s game against Skyview into OT. 

Grant McClure, Liberty Christian: McClure netted 29 points for Liberty Christian in their game against Kittitas. 

Paolo Banchero, O’Dea: Banchero led the way for O’Dea, finishing with 38 points to help defeat Seattle Prep 68-51.

Tyson Degenhart, Mt. Spokane: Degenhart averaged 23.7 ppg for Mt. Spokane in games against Rogers, North Central, and Ferris.
