Cashmere’s Hailey Van Lith, Garfield’s Dalayah Daniels selected to 2020 McDonald’s All-American Game roster

The nation’s premiere high school basketball showcase will feature two products from the state of Washington.

Cashmere’s Hailey Van Lith and Garfield’s Dalayah Daniels were selected to the 2020 McDonald’s All-American Game rosters, which were announced on Thursday.

The showcase’s selection committee chose the nation’s most prolific 24 girls and 24 boys from a list of more than 900 nominees for the game, which takes place on April 1 in Houston and is televised live on ESPN and ESPN2.

In total, 11 girls and four boys were nominated from the state of Washington.

Van Lith, a 5-foot-9 five-star Louisville commit, is the No. 8 ranked player in the class of 2020, according to ESPN’s HoopGurlz recruiting rankings. Last year, she led No. 1 Cashmere (14-0, 7-0 Caribou Trail) to a 1A state semifinal appearance and averaged 34.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.2 steals and 4.9 assists per game.

Daniels, a California commit, is also a five-star and the No. 14 recruit in her class, per ESPN. The 6-foot-4 guard/forward has helped No. 1 Garfield get out to a 10-4 record (10-0 Metro League).
