Scorebook Live’s 1B Washington boys basketball Top 10: Odessa, Yakama Tribal sit atop latest rankings

Here are Scorebook Live’s Top 10 rankings for Class 1B Washington high school boys basketball for the week of Jan. 21.

Our class-by-class Washington boys basketball coaches polls and rankings are released every Monday throughout the 2019-20 high school boys basketball season.

The 1B rankings are compiled by SB Live basketball analyst and former NBA player Dan Dickau and SB Live Washington reporter Andy Buhler.

CLASS 1B BOYS BASKETBALL TOP 10

Rankings for Jan. 21, 2020

1. Odessa 12-0

Beat No. 2 Lake Roosevelt (2B), 61-54, at home, hit the road to beat No. 8 Oakesdale, 63-54, on the road, No. 5 Cusick at home, 82-55, and Curlew on the road, 68-29.

2. Yakama Tribal 10-2

Beat Bickleton on the road, 79-30.

3. Lummi 12-2

After its game against Shoreline Christian was postponed, Lummi beat Tulalip Heritage, 56-50, on the road and Taholah at home, 79-56.

4. Riverside Christian 10-1

Defeated Moses Lake Christian Academy at home, 72-30.

5. Rainier Christian 11-4

Beat No. 6 Muckleshoot Tribal, 67-53, and Pacific Christian Academy on the road, 72-48.

6. Oakesdale 12-3

Lost on the road to No. 1 Odessa, 63-54, then rebounded with wins over No. 9 Garfield-Palouse at home, 46-44, and Touchet on the road, 58-28

7. Cusick 10-3

Took a lopsided loss at No. 1 Odessa, 82-55, and beat Valley Christian at home, 79-48.

8. Tacoma Baptist 10-4

Beat Cedar Park Christian, 50-29, and Puget Sound Adventist, 61-35 — both at home.

9. Evergreen Lutheran 9-3

Beat Northwest Yeshiva on the road, 68-53.

10. Muckleshoot Tribal 8-4

Lost to No. 7 Rainier Christian, 67-53, on the road.
