Ephrata’s Boe Hesse voted Scorebook Live’s boys basketball player of the week

Congratulations to Ephrata High School forward Boe Hesse for being voted Scorebook Live’s WAFD Bank boys basketball player of the week!

Hesse, a 6-foot-5 senior, racked up a total of 30 points, 25 rebounds and 5 blocks in wins over Ellensburg and East Valley (Yakima).

Hesse received 48.3% of the vote, beating out Foster’s Markell Jackson who finished with 34.2%.

Tanner Toolson, Union: Toolson scored 36 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the Titan’s 99-63 win over Evergreen.

Jacobi Cole-Thomas, Lakes: Cole-Thomas finished with 23 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals in Lakes’ 83-69 win over Mount Tahoma.

Brayden Quantrille, Glacier Peak: Quantrille finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in the Grizzlies’ 66-27 win over Cascade.

Maleek Arington, Auburn: Arington netted 23 points in Auburn’s 55-36 win over Enumclaw.

Mason Landdeck, Zillah: Landdeck scored a game-high 22 points in Zillah’s 99-52 victory over Wapato.

John Hart, Rainier Beach: Hart scored 35 and 26 points in 2 games and won the dunk contest at the Mission Prep Christmas Classic.

Michael Cornia, Walla Walla: Cornia had 45 points (18-for-20 from the field) and 6 rebounds in Walla Walla’s 73-65 win over Southridge.

Bradley Graham, Federal Way: Graham had 27 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in Federal Way’s 85-79 win over Lincoln.

Noah Pepper, Selah: Pepper had 23 points and 25 rebounds in Selah’s win over East Valley (Yakima).

Tanner Wallen, White River: Wallen scored 25 points in just three quarters vs. Eatonville; 27 against Black Hills; and 23 in two quarters vs. Orting.

Tyran Lane, Lummi Nation: Lane had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals and 4 blocks in Lummi’s 79-31 win over Orcas Christian. He added 18 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in their 62-33 win over Cedar Park Christian.

Markell Jackson, Foster: Jackson had 41 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in a 92-68 win over previously unbeaten Nathan Hale.

Ethan Dillon, Tumwater: Dillon had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in Tumwater’s 74-73 double overtime win over King’s, who came into the game ranked No. 1 in Scorebook Live’s 1A coaches poll.
