VANCOUVER — Aidan Fraly scored a game-high 27 points to lead Prairie past King’s Way Christian 65-55 in a season-opening win at King’s Way Christian High School on Monday.
The No. 5 Knights led for portion of the first half. Prairie took a two-point lead into halftime, and pulled away in the second half.
The Falcons made the 3A state playoffs last season and lost in the first round. No. 5 King’s Way made a surprise run to the 1A state finals as a 10-seed last year, and returns four of five starters.
