THREE TO SEE

Finn Davido, fullback / linebacker

Hard downfield runner with a year of starting experience.

Justin Hagemeyer, offensive lineman

Put on a ton of muscle since the end of the 2018 season, will open up a lot for the run game.

Mac Jordan, offensive lineman

Completes a dynamic duo in the trenches, “tremendous leader” (per coach Hopkins).

OUTLOOK

2018 marked a big improvement on the field for the Raiders, who went 2-8 the previous season.

The team pulled out a 5-5 record, competing game in and game out with opponents in their Metro League Valley Division.

This year, coach Hopkins is very confident in his wing-T offense, but says that the team will have to have “22 starters to make a run,” which stresses the importance of a solid defensive front.

They return a big duo in the trenches this year in third-year starters Mac Jordan and Justin Hagemeyer, who will prove invaluable in the Raiders’ run-heavy offense.

2019 should be a big year for the Raiders, as they should continue to build upon last year’s finish with their solid group of experienced talent.
