OUTLOOK

Change is in the air at Juanita. First year coach Jared Carter has implemented a new offense and defense for the Rebels, who replace several all-league selections.

Gone are first team all-KingCo selections Sebastian Garcia and Isaiah Eubanks, but the Rebels return all-league selection Keegan Eby, a 5-11, 225-pound two-way lineman, and several standout skill position players.

In Carter’s first head coaching job after spending four years as the defensive coordinator at Lake Washington, he’s implementing a power spread offense, which will be helmed by offensive coordinator Eric Harrington.

Defense is Carter’s specialty, as he played linebacker at Central Washington, and he expects the Rebels to have a strong 4-2-5 base defense.
