OUTLOOK

As the school’s third coach in as many seasons last year, Rose -— a former running back at Southern Utah — is a stickler for establishing an effective ground game.

And after losing 23 seniors, it becomes an even bigger focal point, especially with a group of dirt-dog up-and-comers.

Even though Grady is relatively new to football, he now becomes the workhorse running back. His backfield mates at quarterback — the shifty Redman, a senior, and powerful junior Eli Hoffman — are also expected to contribute.

But admittedly, it will be difficult to replace the production and experience of all-3A SSC first-team wide receiver Chris Penner (now at Seattle Pacific) and three-year starting quarterback Grant Erickson (now at Puget Sound) — although Lindekugel is a productive must-see athlete.
