THREE TO SEE

Tate Cavanaugh, running back / defensive back

Started at safety for the Tigers last year, will take over the running back job for departed stud Axel Wilhonen in 2019.

Isaac Donovan, offensive lineman

Leads offensive line that returns three starters.

Austyn Frazier, defensive back

Ball hawk in the secondary, pulled down a few picks for the Tigers’ defense in 2018.

OUTLOOK

In their first year in the NWC Sky Division, the Tigers took home a third place finish and a 4-6 overall record, which led them to a first round playoff appearance.

The group was led by a cast of two-way seniors, four of whom were able to snag all-league honors.

2019’s crew will be young and mostly inexperienced, as the Tigers return only eight total starters.

Head coach Herb Lehman steps into his 14th season boasting a 43-31 record, and will hope to mold his young guys into division title contenders come November.

It won’t be an easy task, as their division is home to the likes of powerhouses Archbishop Murphy and Lynden (last year’s state runner-up). Lots of holes to fill for this team in 2019, but they should be able to compete in the league.
