THREE TO SEE

Victor Gabalis, quarterback

Big body, dual-threat quarterback with a strong arm.

Josh McCarron, defensive lineman

Another fast athlete off the edge here for the Wildcats; uses his size to be very disruptive in the passing game.

Zion Robinson, offensive and defensive lineman

Two-way all-league selection last year. Has a great burst off the line and uses his size well.

OUTLOOK

Interim head coach Mark Leone, previously an assistant for the Wildcats, will take over this season in the place of Jerry Jensen, who took AMHS to the state championship just three seasons ago.

Leone takes over after a 2018 campaign in which the ‘Cats went 4-3-1 and tied for second in the NWC Sky Division.

They return quite a few all-league selections, and look especially strong on the offensive and defensive line.

This is a crew that had five guys at or over 300 pounds in 2018 — teams will have a tough time matching the size and physicality of this group in 2019.
