Skyline creates distance at No. 1 in latest 4A Washington state baseball coaches poll

The Skyline Spartans remain the top-ranked 4A team in the state after locking up the 4A KingCo regular seasons title, according to the latest Scorebook Live 4A Washington state coaches poll released Monday.

The Spartans take a 15-game win streak into the postseason after wins over Mount Si, Eastlake and Issaquah last week.

Federal Way jumped to second place after going 3-0 last week in consecutive games against Auburn Riverside, then Curtis. The Eagles enter the postseason winners of their last 12 games.

Camas jumped from 10th to fifth place after defeating Skyview twice in two days. Skyview dropped from second to eighth place in the poll. The Papermakers have a one-game lead on Skyview atop the 4A Greater St. Helens League standings with three regular season games left.
