Clayton Whitman, Beyonce Bea named 2A Washington High School Basketball AP Players of the Year

The Associated Press has named Lynden senior Clayton Whitman and Washougal senior Beyonce Bea the 2019 2A Washington high school state basketball players of the year.

Whitman, who will play for Seattle Pacific next season, led Lynden to its second consecutive 2A boys state title. Bea, who has signed with Idaho, led Washougal to its first-ever 2A girls state championship.
