Highlights: Anton Watson, Gonzaga Prep repeat as Washington 4A boys basketball state champions

What had been a close game early in the third quarter — a 31-26 Gonzaga Prep lead — was suddenly a blowout as the Bullpups went on a 15-0 run to put Mount Si away. After all was said and done Gonzaga Prep walked away with a 69-43 victory over Mount Si in the 4A boys basketball title game, their second consecutive state championship.

Anton Watson was unstoppable, scoring 33 points. Sheadon Byrd added 11 for the Bullpups.

Mount Si, who saw its 20-game winning streak come to an end, was led by 13 points apiece from Bennett O’Connor and Jabe Mullins.
