7 questions with Griffin Effenberger, senior at Lewis and Clark High School

Griffen Effenberger is having a terrific senior season for Lewis and Clark High School. The 6-3 guard exploded for 30 points in an 83-79  win over Shadle Park last week. The previous week he banked in a buzzer-beater to lift Lewis and Clark to a huge 44-42 rivalry win over Ferris. We recently caught up with Effenberger to ask him seven questions:
How would you describe your game?
I am a big guard and a versatile player, who can defend 1-5. Can score when needed, but try to make my teammates around me better.
What are your goals for the season, both individually and as a team?
 Team: State Run
 Individually: 1st Team GSL
How would you describe your coach?
Coach Redmond has helped me develop into a leader and has always had my back no matter what and I can’t thank him enough for that.

Who is your favorite player?

My favorite player is Jamal Crawford, although I model my game after Jason Kidd.

Who is your toughest matchup this season and why?

Our most intense game this year was against Gonzaga Prep where we just came up short.

What is your favorite gym in state to play in?
Lewis and Clark.
What are your aspirations as a player?
My aspirations as a player are to be a freshman All American, National Champion, and have a pro career (signed with D2 Black Hills State).
