ARLINGTON, Texas – Freshman quarterback Kaleb Bailey threw two touchdown passes to lift North Shore over Duncanville 17-10 on Saturday afternoon in the Texas UIL 6A Division 1 championship game at AT&T Stadium in front of 42,544.
Bailey opening the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown pass to Jhalyn Bailey late in the first quarter, and he connected on a 39-yard scoring pass to David Amador with 2:53 left in the game that gave the Mustangs (15-1) the lead. Bailey completed 10-of-13 passes for 107 yards.
Running back Jordan Cook supplied the only touchdown for Duncanville (13-2) on a 1-yard run early in the second quarter that tied the game at 7-7.
