Franklin edges Cleveland 20-17

Franklin - QB Cliff Carlsen racked up 99 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide Franklin to a 20-17 win over Cleveland on Friday night.

The Quakers also recieved helpful efforts from WR Juan Villafan-Hofmann who rushed 7 times for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns and QB Dashiel Pederson who caught 2 passes for 76 yards.

Cleveland's QB Jaydon Hamblin threw for 64 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Michael Wallace picked up 113 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Maxwell Gillen had 25 receiving yards.

The win helps Franklin improve to 3-6 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
