Seth Glenn, Sherwood erase deficit, beat Glencoe, will face Liberty for Pacific Conference championship

Sherwood 49, Glencoe 23

Seth Glenn ran for two touchdowns and more than 200 yards, and the Bowmen (4-4, 4-0 Pacific Conference) bounced out of a 17-13 hole to defeat the host Crimson Tide (3-5, 0-4) at Hare Field in Hillsboro.

With the Bowmen down 17-13, Bjorn Bergstrom passed to Cody Hall for one of his three touchdowns to put Sherwood on top for good, 21-17.

The Bowmen have won four in a row and will play Liberty in Hillsboro next week for the Pacific championship.

After the Bowmen took a 28-17 lead, the Crimson Tide fumbled the kickoff, leading to a short field and a quick Bowmen touchdown. The Crimson Tide’s next possession ended with an interception, which two plays later turned into another Bowmen touchdown and a 42-17 lead.

Glenn’s touchdown runs covered 80 and 82 yards.

Royce Fasel carried 26 times for 197 yards and a touchdown, and Trever O’Leary ran for two Glencoe touchdowns.
