Timmy Mitchell’s fumble recovery for a touchdown and interceptions by Jordan King and Zach Grisham were among the defensive highlights for the Rams in their Mt. Hood Conference victory over the host Eagles (2-5, 1-5) in Gresham. 

The Rams (8-0, 6-0) of Southeast Portland got two sacks from Emar’rion Winston and limited the Eagles to 54 yards of offense. 

Cru Newman (7 of 8, 178 yards) passed for three touchdowns and ran for another. Jordan King, Riley Williams and Stryder Todd-Fields caught touchdown passes, and Ellis Bynum and Ty Jones ran for scores.
